Description

The Edan SonoTrax Vascular is a hand-held Doppler for assessing peripheral arterial and venous flow at the bedside or in a wound care, podiatry or vascular clinic. It finds both deep and superficial vessels and gives an audio signal through the built-in speaker.

This version comes with an 8 MHz probe for surface vessels. Edan notes that the unit also accepts interchangeable waterproof 4 MHz and 5 MHz probes, and that the vascular model has no display screen. The published battery life is about 8 hours of continuous use.
