Description

The GE Dash 4000 is a portable multiparameter monitor used at the bedside and during transport within a hospital. GE's published specifications list a 10.4-inch active-matrix color display at 640 x 480 pixels, showing up to six waveform traces.

Standard monitoring covers ECG, non-invasive blood pressure, SpO2, impedance respiration and temperature. Invasive pressure, CO2 and cardiac output were offered as options, so the parameters on a given unit depend on how it was built. The monitor takes up to two exchangeable lithium-ion batteries, with a published run time of about 4 to 5 hours.
