Description
The CONMED System 5000 is an electrosurgical generator for general, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. CONMED's Dynamic Response Technology measures current and voltage 450,000 times per second and adjusts to changes in tissue impedance in under 10 milliseconds.
Preset modes include General, Lap, Fluids, Pulse Coag, Pulse Cut, Micro Bipolar and Macro Bipolar. In Lap mode, monopolar voltage stays below 2,700 V to lower the risk of capacitive coupling and stray burns during minimally invasive work. Footswitches, pencils and return electrode cables are listed separately in the quotation.
