Description
The CONMED Hyfrecator 2000 is a low-power electrosurgical unit for office procedures in dermatology, family practice and other specialties. It has monopolar and bipolar modes, self-diagnostics and recall of stored power settings.
The unit has separate HI and LO output terminals: HI for heavier desiccation and fulguration, and LO for lighter, more precise work, with control down to 0.1 W. Two microprocessors run it, one controlling output and one monitoring the system, which stops activation if it detects a fault. Accessories offered by CONMED include a mobile stand, autoclavable hand or foot pencils, bipolar forceps and electrodes.
