Description
The MAICO touchTymp MI 26 is a tympanometer for middle-ear assessment in ENT, pediatric and audiology practices. It is run from a 10.4-inch touchscreen. The MI 26 adds air conduction and/or bone conduction audiometry to the tympanometry of the MI 24.
MAICO lists a 226 Hz probe tone, with 1 kHz optional, and acoustic reflex stimuli at 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz and 4 kHz (ipsilateral as standard, contralateral optional). A car race animation on screen helps keep young children still during measurement. The probe, headphones and options of this unit are listed in the quotation.
