Description
The Radiometer ABL90 FLEX PLUS is a compact blood gas analyzer used in emergency departments, ICUs, operating rooms and labs. One whole-blood sample gives blood gas (pH, pCO2, pO2), electrolytes, glucose and lactate, plus co-oximetry and bilirubin, with results in about 35 seconds.
Radiometer lists up to 17 parameters from 45 µL of blood, or up to 19 from 65 µL when the creatinine and urea option is fitted. It runs on Radiometer sensor cassettes and solution packs, takes syringe, capillary and test tube samples without an adapter, and is operated from an 8 inch touchscreen with a built-in printer and barcode reader. The unit pictured is the FLEX PLUS version.
