Description
The CSV-1000, now sold by Good-Lite, is a backlit viewer for standardized contrast sensitivity and ETDRS acuity charts in eye clinics and research settings. Interchangeable faces mount on the front of the unit.
Good-Lite lists auto-calibration circuitry that holds the chart luminance at 85 cd/m2, so lighting is the same from one session to the next. A CSV-1000HGT version adds halogen glare lights that simulate oncoming headlights. The chart faces and the model (with or without glare) supplied with this unit are listed in the quotation.
